I know, most everyone is played out on the live action/CGI hybrid movie at this point because they usually aren’t as great as they should be. THE SMURFS, on the other hand, has always been on the better side of my thoughts, due to its wonderful casting choices and my love for the original cartoon.

Tim Gunn joins the already eclectic SMURFS cast

In some posts we are very tempted to work in someone’s catchphrase, we usually indulge into this because we think it will be fun. This was my first thought when reading the news that Project Runway co-host Tim Gunn was joining the cast of THE SMURFS. For the sake of credibility, I will avoid making any references to Gunn’s many catchphrases.

Paul Reubens officially in THE SMURFS

Although many people are pretty hesitant when it comes to THE SMURFS live action/CGI hybrid film, I get more excited with every casting announcement they make. Instead of using our typical Hollywood fare, they seem to be casting more outside the box. Neil Patrick Harris to be the lead male in THE SMURFS

It’s no secret that CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” is one of my favorite shows on television. A large part of that is due to Neil Patrick Harris’ hilarious role as Barney Stinson. This is because Harris is so incredibly talented portraying over-the-top characters. Time after time he has played some of the most memorable characters in anything he has appeared in.
