It’s no secret that CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” is one of my favorite shows on television. A large part of that is due to Neil Patrick Harris’ hilarious role as Barney Stinson. This is because Harris is so incredibly talented portraying over-the-top characters. Time after time he has played some of the most memorable characters in anything he has appeared in.
It seems that NPH will now grace us in the upcoming CGI/live action hybrid film, THE SMURFS.
Don’t expect a two apple tall blue Harris, as he will be a human in the live-action world. I’m sure he’ll have his fair share of wacky moments in the film, and I can’t wait to see him interact with Papa Smurf and the gang.
He will film his scenes for the Hanna-Barbera creation during his hiatus from “How I Met Your Mother.” With NPH added to the cast, I am even more on board with this film than I already was. I’d expect to hear even more about this film in the very near future.
