Elizabeth Hurley cast as "Wonder Woman" villain

Elizabeth Hurley. Oh, how I remember Elizabeth Hurley. She was a major favorite between myself and all of my friends back in her heyday, then she seemingly disappeared. Many of us have wondered where she has been, and why she hasn’t been in the spotlight in a while. That seems to be changing, however.

Hurley has revealed, via her Twitter account, that she will be taking up the villain role in the upcoming Wonder Woman TV series for NBC.

The role will be a guest-starring stint, and is said to be the role of Veronica Cale, a woman who runs a pharmaceutical company that produces a drug that gives its user strength. Adrianne Palicki takes up the role of "Wonder Woman" for NBC

Wonder Woman is one of the main staples of the DC comics universe, yet sometimes gets overlooked as such. Several years ago, Joss Whedon was hard at work trying to bring her to the big screen, in an attempt that didn’t pan out so well. This left her behind as Superman, Green Lantern, and Batman hit the golden screen.
