Elizabeth Hurley. Oh, how I remember Elizabeth Hurley. She was a major favorite between myself and all of my friends back in her heyday, then she seemingly disappeared. Many of us have wondered where she has been, and why she hasn’t been in the spotlight in a while. That seems to be changing, however.
Hurley has revealed, via her Twitter account, that she will be taking up the villain role in the upcoming Wonder Woman TV series for NBC.
The role will be a guest-starring stint, and is said to be the role of Veronica Cale, a woman who runs a pharmaceutical company that produces a drug that gives its user strength. She plans on using that drug against Wonder Woman, who she is jealous of. The role is Hurley’s, pending some visa issues.
Hurley seems like the perfect person to cast in this role, as she can easily fill the shoes as a strong character. Of course, one of the biggest deciding factors will be her chemistry with/against Adrianne Palicki, who has been cast as Wonder Woman. But I have very few doubts that anyone could do a better job than Hurley could.
