THE LOVED ONES is coming to the states; check out the trailer

I have been waiting for this news for so long, and I’m so happy to share it. The Australian horror film, THE LOVED ONES, is finally coming stateside. I was lucky enough to see the film a couple years ago while it was running the festival circuit, and have been speaking out on it’s awesomeness since then. Soon enough, more of us over in the states will get to see it, and you better.

Check out the new trailer after the break.

Trailer for THIS IS FORTY proves this looks good

Judd Apatow is a major force in Hollywood comedy. After THE 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN proved to be a huge success it gave him a platform to produce even more pictures, most of which also end up as quite successful. That hasn’t stopped him from maintaining his writer/director aspirations, and he is currently working on a sort-of-sequel to KNOCKED UP called THIS IS FORTY.

Now there is a trailer out for the film, which you can check out after the break.

R-rated TED gets a green band trailer

Just a couple days ago, the first trailer was released for Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming directorial debut, TED. As the film is mature in nature, they released the trailer as a red band, to give us a better idea as to what the humor of the film was like. That’s out of the way now, so now they’ve released a green band trailer which gives us a better look at the story.

You can check out the trailer after the break! Continue reading “R-rated TED gets a green band trailer”

Red band trailer for Seth MacFarlane's TED

The build up to a trailer for TED has been a long one for me. Although I don’t fancy myself much of a Family Guy fan, I have always thought that if the shows creator Seth MacFarlane were to do a feature, it could be quite good. Which is why I have been anxiously awaiting TED, his first foray into theatrical film.

Now we have a red band trailer, which gives us a pretty good idea what to expect from the movie. I can tell you, it does not disappoint. You can check it out after the break! Beware, the humor is mature, so hide the kiddos. Continue reading “Red band trailer for Seth MacFarlane's TED”

New AMERICAN REUNION red band trailer

The return of Jim and the gang is just around the corner now, and it looks like the boys are up to no good once again. In this iteration, they are older, times have changed and people have changed, but they find themselves together for their high school reunion.

Stephenie Meyer's THE HOST gets a teaser

Twi-hards gather! Although the finale to the TWILIGHT film series is just around the corner, that doesn’t mean that Stephenie Meyer’s work is done with the big screen. A film adaptation of her other book is on its way faster than you can say vampire baseball.

Now we are getting our first look at the film through this brand new teaser trailer!

First full trailer released for THE MUPPETS

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to play the music and it’s time to light the lights, because we finally have the first full trailer for the upcoming MUPPETS movie. After our three spoof teasers they have given us in promotion for the film, the romance teaser, The Fuzzy Pack, and of course their GREEN LANTERN spoof, we finally get a peek at the film itself.

You can check out the trailer after the break! Continue reading “First full trailer released for THE MUPPETS”

THE MUPPETS spoof us once again

THE MUPPETS are coming back in a big bad way, and in promotion of their return, they have been releasing quite a bit of content this summer. First they put out the Teaser Trailer, then they gave us the “Fuzzy Pack,” who we are so glad to have “backy back.” Now they are hitting us with one more spoof trailer to pacify us for a while.

This time we are getting their take on GREEN LANTERN, very naturally starring the greenest Muppet we know, Kermit. This trailer is probably my favorite of the spoof trailers, all of which I have thoroughly enjoyed. This one takes the joke one step further and decides to break the fourth wall – addressing one of the biggest concerns I have had with the film, just when are we getting a full trailer? Trailer for Roland Emmerich's ANONYMOUS lands

I first heard about Roland Emmerich’s film ANONYMOUS at 2010’s SXSW Film Festival, during my interview with actor Rhys Ifans. He briefly mentioned the plot of the film and his involvement, but didn’t have much else to say about it. Even at the time I remember being fascinated with the concept of Shakespeare not writing what is claimed to be his work, but couldn’t really imagine what the film would be like.

Now we have a pretty good idea, as a trailer of the upcoming film has been released. You can check it out after the break! Continue reading “Trailer for Roland Emmerich's ANONYMOUS lands”

SXSW 2010: Trailer for CHERRY

Every now and then, a film comes along that has this certain charm that completely wins over audiences. GARDEN STATE comes to mind as one of these films, and I certainly get that vibe from the trailer of CHERRY. The film portrays a wild child mother, her equally wild daughter, and their peculiar and inappropriate relationship with a boy.

The film was written and directed by Jeffery Fine, and stars Kyle Gallner, who previously showed his acting chops in HBO’s “Big Love,” and is one of the stars of the upcoming A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake. The film’s world premiere is at SXSW next week.
