R-rated TED gets a green band trailer

Just a couple days ago, the first trailer was released for Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming directorial debut, TED. As the film is mature in nature, they released the trailer as a red band, to give us a better idea as to what the humor of the film was like. That’s out of the way now, so now they’ve released a green band trailer which gives us a better look at the story.

You can check out the trailer after the break!

Although I don’t think this trailer even holds a stick to the red band, it does give us more insight as to what we can expect from the story. Even more importantly, it doesn’t look like the film completely depends on the mature humor, but obviously it is an important aspect of it. If you want to get a good laugh though, you’ll want to turn your sights back to the red band.

TED is the most surprising film that I’m excited for this Summer. I mean, I’m not really much of a Family Guy fan, but TED just seems like it will be outrageously funny. The film comes out on July 13th.

You can check out the trailer in HD at Apple.

  1. You can tell there is some heavy dialogue editing going on here to make it green band. But it’s kind of cool seeing how Ted came to be, and it feels a little less shallow than the red band version let on. Which is good.
