Okay, I’ve admitted it many times before – I am not a fan of Channing Tatum. That being said, there are certain roles that do fit him really well, they just aren’t the route he usually takes. Now he is in negotiations to take up a lead role in the 21 JUMP STREET film adaptation, which sounds like a really good choice for him.
Currently, we are unsure of the role what Tatum would be playing, but we are led to believe that he would be taking up the role of Schmidt. Schmidt is one of the undercover guys who goes to the high school due to how young he looks.
The film is supposed to be an action comedy, so we can only imagine it would be in the vein of something like PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, but that’s a good thing. This is the kind of role I want to see Tatum in, not so much the dramatic roles.
I have a hunch that this is where Tatum will win me over, what do you guys think?
