Although Angelina Jolie’s last flick SALT didn’t exactly resonate with the general public the way it was expected to, she is still one of the biggest names in the business.
Her next film, THE TOURIST, is almost sure-fire going to be a much bigger film than SALT, mostly due to Johnny Depp co-starring. Now we know just when the film will be coming out, as Sony has given the film a release date.
The film will be releasing on December 10, and will provide direct competition to THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER. As to which one will be the winner, it’s hard to tell as of now.
Although THE TOURIST is yet another mainstream Johnny Depp film, I still can’t help but feel excitement. As much as I would like to see him go back to art house pictures, Jolie and Depp together could be absolutely sublime. It seems we’ll find out in December.
