New HARRY POTTER poster is on fire

The final two HARRY POTTER films are upon us, and many fans (myself included) are very depressed over this. No longer will we scarf up to see the films in costume, casting fake Expelliarmus charms on any foes I may face (seriously, don’t cut in line). Along with the recent trailer being released, the teasing has gone into full force and a new poster has hit the web.

Click the break to check out the poster and all its flame-filled (Incendio?) goodness.

For some reason, “It All Ends Here,” is really sticking in my head with this poster. It’s almost like a slap in the face reminder that the series is completely over with these films. One thing I find really interesting about the current campaign, they are promoting both parts of the film despite the fact that the second part is still over a year away.

The first part will be released November 19 of this year, with the second and final film being released July 15, 2011.

  1. I'm torn on the marketing of both films at once with the 8 month lag between them. Part of me thinks it's great because it means we get to see clips from the 2nd film now! Another part of me is disappointed because, it feels like a majority of the trailer is what is in the 2nd film. Gah! Want All Now! Also, don't want it to ever be over!

  2. I share the same sentiment. I have a feeling that we will probably get a part one trailer and poster closer to it's release. The marketing really doesn't matter financially, because the films will be huge, but still. I can't wait to see both parts, and I really can't wait for my 8 movie long Potter marathon after the Blu release.
