Alison Brie Joins SCREAM 4

Alison Brie went from being not that well known, to being very well liked in a very short period of time. Although she has had a reoccurring role on AMC’s Mad Men since season one, it was her portrayal of Annie on NBC’s very well received new show Community that made her a name. Her move to features came just as quick as her fame, and she has joined the cast of SCREAM 4.

She will play Gale Campbell’s assistant, who would love to have the success that her boss has found. Needless to say, she is very jealous. An interesting role for Brie, but also one that she probably will pull off well. She definitely proves that she has dramatic appeal from her AMC show and comedic appeal from her NBC show, so there’s no doubt she can do this role.

Filming recently began for the movie, and they are shooting for a April release. Let’s hope that Wes Craven direction and the awesome cast make this a worthy sequel.
