Shawn Hatosy may not be one of the biggest names out there, but when he shows up he tends to be consistently awesome (ALPHA DOG is proof enough). Although he is a regular on TNT’s Southland, it looks like he will be showing up on the opposite coast too. Hatosy has signed onto a multiple episode arc of the Showtime hit, Dexter.
Although original reports were that there would be no “Bad Guy,” this season, they now are saying that Shawn will be filling those shoes. In the case of this show, that line can be pretty murky though. With a protagonist like Dexter, “Bad Guy,” could just be someone close to figuring him out and exposing him.
Dexter just doesn’t want to stop the trend of having really great guest starring roles, first Julia Stiles and now Hatosy. My excitement keeps increasing tenfold (if that was even possible), and this season is shaping up to be a really great one. The September 26 fifth season premiere could not get here any sooner.
