THE WRESTLER threw Mickey Rourke back into the spotlight, making him one of the biggest actors in the industry. Now that he is wanted by everyone, he has the opportunity to be choosy about the roles he takes. It seems that one he has chosen will be Tony Scott’s next film, where he will be part of the Hells Angels Biker Gang.
The film is the story of a young cop who goes undercover in the organization in an attempt to expose its criminal and illegal side. Supposedly, Scott has met with Shia LaBeouf over the role of the young cop.
This seems like a pretty fitting role for Rourke, since the dude looks like a rough biker. Not to mention he knows how to play the badass atittude, which would be a must have for this role. Right now my biggest concern is if Tony Scott can bring it, as he hasn’t really packed the punch that he used to in a while. He’s got a good shot so far from the way this project is shaping up.
