A while back we let you know that JONAH HEX would be doing some re-shoots and Francis Lawrence would be directing. Now we know more about the re-shoots, and how they are being handled. It is rumored that the reason for the re-shoot is to make the film fit the unexpected buzz it is getting.
The first bit of confirmed info. is that Francis Lawrence will indeed be on the set, but as a consultant. They will spend ten more days shooting twelve additional pages, and they will also re-shoot a couple scenes. Hopefully the re-shoots are to add to the final experience, not an attempt to hide a bad movie.
I’m already a little worried about the film since Megan Fox is in it, but Josh Brolin is great. The film is coming quick, and was pulled up from it’s August 6 release date, to a more summer blockbuster friendly, June 18th. It seems the studio has some faith that people want to see the movie. I sure hope they are right.

Megan Fox is in it? That fact makes me sad… I mean, unless she's playing the mistress of a whore house. Then it all makes sense. :DI have a feeling the release date is still a little too close to AVATAR still being in theaters.
