Soderbergh's KNOCKOUT cast list is a heavy-hitter

Steven Soderbergh is a director that people really like, and his filmography shows exactly why. We told you about KNOCKOUT back in September, now we are starting to get a little more info about the project. One thing we found out was who the cast is, before all we knew was that mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano would be the lead.

Joining Carano will be Dennis Quaid, Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas, and Ewan McGregor. Lots of big names to back her up might just help this movie out a lot. Not to mention all the experience Soderbergh has with ensemble casts, as he directed OCEAN’S 11 and its sequels.

Although the cast is great and Fassbender is really awesome, I feel a little skeptical. Soderbergh is a really talented director, but I’m going to wait ’till we see more from this movie. Now that we have the principal cast, more information should start to come out.
