X-MEN: FIRST CLASS sequel to start filming in January

All of us comic book fans were very anxious when X-MEN: FIRST CLASS was first announced. I mean, the third X-MEN film was quite a disappointment, and had spurned us in quite a way that we couldn’t help but be worried. Things got better every time the production teased us, but when it came to brass tacks, we needed to see the film. Luckily for us, it did not disappoint.

January Jones takes over for Alice Eve in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS is shaping up to be a pretty interesting superhero flick, with some very interesting casting choices. One of those previously-announced casting choices (that was already absolutely sublime) has actually gotten even better.

Completely CGI version of The Thing in FANTASTIC FOUR: REBORN

The idea of THE FANTASTIC FOUR getting a reboot by Fox is not only really exciting, but extremely horrifying. There’s always a chance that the third time is the charm for Fox, but after the first two films, who can really be sure. Today, news is coming out that one of the first family, The Thing, will be entirely CG.

Alice Eve is in talks to play Emma Frost in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS?

It seems like every-time we report on the casting for X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, it becomes an even more highly anticipated film for me (James McAvoy as Professor X). This is coming from a comic fan that for some reason has never really gotten into the X-Men, aside from the first two films. Now with the news that Alice Eve will most likely be joining the cast as Emma Frost, I’m more excited about this film than ever. Beast will be played by Benjamin Walker in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS is quickly shaping up to be a really interesting, and possibly really great, project. The casting, such as James McAvoy playing a young Professor X are easy casting announcements to get behind. Although this casting announcement isn’t a big name, he will play one of my favorite X-Men who is often underutilized in the stories of today. Production for Bryan Singer's JACK THE GIANT KILLER to start in July

Most would agree that Bryan Singer’s tenure on the X-MEN franchise was a resounding hit, and conversely, his take on the SUPERMAN franchise is seen as a miss. This made it much more disheartening when he decided to only produce X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and direct JACK THE GIANT KILLER.
