When the reboot of the SPIDER-MAN film franchise was first announced, many fans were extremely worried that Sony would mess it up. But, there was also another type of fan who reacted positively to this news– one that was excited about Spidey’s return to high school because it sounded a lot like one of Marvel’s flagship comic series, Ultimate Spider-Man.

Ultimate Spider-Man is a modernized reboot that was launched in 2000 as a way to connect the character with a younger fan base.
