To me, one of the biggest film shocks of 2008 was when Nick Fury showed up after the credits of IRON MAN. I was so excited after seeing that scene that I actually got a speeding ticket on my way home from the theater. That scene was the start of something much bigger for Sam Jackson and his version of Nick Fury, including no less than a nine picture deal with Marvel to reprise Nick Fury in future movies. Clark Gregg will S.H.I.E.L.D. up for THOR

One of the best things about the first IRON MAN movie were the references to the Marvel universe. It would even catch me off guard at times because I’m used to the movies being so disconnected. So whenever Clark Gregg’s character Agent Coulson said he was with the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, I didn’t realize he was with S.H.I.E.L.D.. Their main purpose is to deal with superhuman threats. Continue reading “Clark Gregg will S.H.I.E.L.D. up for THOR”
