Doug Liman definitely on ALL YOU NEED IS KILL

A couple months ago, we got word that Doug Liman had dropped out of production of his take on The Three Musketeers and was supposedly on a film called ALL YOU NEED IS KILL. The film was an interesting fit for Liman, but one that could potentially turn into something incredible. From the looks of it, Warner Bros. agrees, as they have hired him as director.

The film is said to be like “GROUNDHOG DAY meets STARSHIP TROOPERS,” as a young soldier must relive a battle against an alien force over and over. Doug Liman off MUSKETEERS and onto ALL YOU NEED IS KILL?

Doug Liman’s THREE MUSKETEERS film is one that was very high on my “I’m so anxious for this movie, holy hell, I can’t wait,” list, because the once-underutilized property is very alluring to me. One of the main issues was that his MUSKETEERS film was competing against another MUSKETEERS movie being helmed by Paul W.S. Anderson.

Doug Liman to helm THE THREE MUSKETEERS

A couple of months back, I reported on a new version of THE THREE MUSKETEERS being produced, and that it was being written by Peter Straughan (THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS). Aside from the fact that it was being made and that Straughan was penning it, we knew nothing else about the project.
