I’m typically not a big fan of sci-fi movies, but this past year has changed my mind on that a little bit. So many good sci-fi movies were released in 2009, and it makes me wonder if my tastes have changed. Sony has a new sci-fi flick on the way, and hopefully this one will surprise me like the others did.

Sony is planning on making a feature adaptation of “The Electric Church,” a sci-fi novel by Jeff Somers. As of right now the film is called the AVERY CATES PROJECT, based off the name of the main character of the novel. The book is supposed to be very action-packed.
