The CW's "Arrow" has a pretty cool look

Full disclosure: I was a huge Smallville fan, owning all the seasons on DVD, and anxiously anticipating new episodes every week. That lasted until midway through season 8, where college and life got the best of me and I had to give up. I always planned on going back, and lately have been working on it. The show has since ended, but CW doesn’t want to give up on the DC train just yet.

Now they have a new show coming out about The Green Arrow, who was a very prominent figure throughout the course of Smallville’s latter half. The show is titled Arrow, and now we also have an image (above) of what the hero will look like. Continue reading “The CW's "Arrow" has a pretty cool look”

CW wants to bring DC's Raven to the small screen

This isn’t something that I readily admit, but there was a time in my life where I was pretty obsessed with Smallville. The show has since lost its fun and cheesiness, but the happy memories still remain. With the show coming to its end, it’s no surprise that the CW wants to replace Supes with another one of their many heroes.

D.J. Caruso will direct sci-fi movie I AM NUMBER FOUR

D.J. Caruso really broke into the mainstream when he directed the surprise hit DISTURBIA, and he hasn’t had a hard time finding a job since. He went on to direct EAGLE EYE, which had a much harder time finding a fan base. He will be making THE ART OF MAKING MONEY with Chris Pine soon, and now we know his next project.

Caruso is set to direct a film adaptation of I AM NUMBER FOUR, a young adult sci-fi book that is set to be released this fall. The book was written by the infamous James Frey (the guy whose debut novel made Oprah’s Book Club, and then was revealed to be a lie) and Joby Hughes.
