Sean Penn to ride the waves once again

Everyone has their favorite Spicoli moment. Whether it is something as big as a line or even as small as a puzzled gesture, his character is easily one of the most memorable things about FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH. Although it doesn’t seem like he’ll be donning the blonde Spicoli hair again anytime soon, he does have plans to play another heroic surfer in one of his next projects. Sean Penn is feeling like a STOOGE again

Awhile back, we reported that Sean Penn had dropped out of the Farrelly brothers’ feature-length THREE STOOGES film, in which he was set to play Larry Fine. Then we reported that Paul Giamatti was set to take his place. Now, it looks like Sean Penn is back in.

Penn’s reason for originally pulling out of the film was reported as relating to family issues. Bobby Farrelly was quoted when talking about the subject, “we got him back.
