GATW Podcast Ep. 43: The Villains

Villains are a big deal these days. Ever since Javier Bardem played Anton Chigurh in NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, they have been recognized both by fans and at the oscars. Following Bardem’s win there was Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker and Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa, both also won the award. Although Ghostface from SCREAM 4 won’t be up for any oscars, he did inspire us to talk about some of our favorite villains.

SCREAM 4 plot synopsis revealed

The opening of SCREAM 4 is right around the corner, and before we know it we’ll be back with Sidney and the gang in Woodsboro. Little has been known about the upcoming sequel, aside from some very basic facts.

Alison Brie Joins SCREAM 4

Alison Brie went from being not that well known, to being very well liked in a very short period of time. Although she has had a reoccurring role on AMC’s Mad Men since season one, it was her portrayal of Annie on NBC’s very well received new show Community that made her a name. SCREAM 4 scares away Lake Bell

SCREAM 4 is finally happening after many years of fan anticipation, and just as many years of writing fan-fiction anonymously on horror movie message boards (don’t tell, please). The cast had been in ink for a while, but now only days before filming has begun, we are hearing that Lake Bell has officially dropped out of filming. David Arquette claims Wes Craven will direct SCREAM 4

SCREAM 4 hasn’t been much of a secret, it seems that some sort of rumor is spouted off by the cast and crew all the time. We have found out over time that much of the original cast will return to their roles, the big question was if original director Wes Craven would be in.
