47 RONIN pushed back to 2013

In almost any form of media in which Samurais appear, they would never be caught retreating from battle. They live on a code of honor, one in which death is a better option than retreat. 47 RONIN, an upcoming movie about Samurai, doesn’t hold the same code of honor.

The film has been pushed back from it’s ambiguous November release, to a more solid February 28th, 2013 date.

EXPENDABLES 2 gets a release date

Sylvester Stallone

God bless Sylvester Stallone. After all these years, he is still just as bad-ass as ever. He proved just that last year when his super-project, THE EXPENDABLES was released. Not only did the film have all the awesome action stars that we looked up to as kids, but it ended up being a giant hit in the box office, raking in over $270 million.

THE TOURIST gets a release date

Although Angelina Jolie’s last flick SALT didn’t exactly resonate with the general public the way it was expected to, she is still one of the biggest names in the business.

Sony proves their faith in BATTLE: LOS ANGELES

Finding the perfect release date for a film is a very important aspect to its release that sometimes gets overlooked. For those of us who notice, we always found it pretty strange that Sony was planning on releasing their Sci-fi action movie BATTLE: LOS ANGELES in February. February is usually a slower month for cinema (box office wise), which makes it an odd place for an action film. Sony has officially moved it to a much more appropriate date, leading many to believe they could have an unexpected hit on their hands.
