Of all the already exciting aspects we had for JOHN CARTER OF MARS, the most exciting certainly has to be FINDING NEMO and WALL-E director Andrew Stanton in the directors chair. It will be his first live action feature, and he seems to be going all out on the project. He is an immensely talented filmmaker, and there is no doubt he will bring his best to the film.

JOHN CARTER OF MARS update from Andrew Stanton

There’s a little bug going around that’s pulling some of Pixar’s biggest directors out of the animation world and placing them firmly in live-action land. First, we have THE INCREDIBLES director Brad Bird directing MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL, and now we have FINDING NEMO and WALL-E director Andrew Stanton bringing JOHN CARTER OF MARS to the big screen.

Pixar moves up MONSTERS, INC. 2 release date, thanks to second BREAKING DAWN

Lately I’ve been reminded first-hand how much I really love MONSTERS, INC., as it has been playing on the movie channels nonstop the past couple of weeks. Ironically, that was exactly how my love for the film was first formed. Still, nine years later the film still has the same effect on me.

Pixar is helping out on the new Muppet movie

As a ridiculously obsessed Muppet fan, I am more excited for the latest Muppet film than many of the other big projects currently in development. It seems that the stars have aligned for this iteration of our reticulated polyfoam crafted friends, as true Muppet lovers Jason Segal and Nicolas Stoller have penned the script. New TOY STORY 3 poster has lots of character

If you are anxiously awaiting Pixar’s TOY STORY 3, then you probably have been following the announcement of all the new characters through the character countdown poster. Through the way they have introduced us to Ken and Peas-in-a-pod, followed by Buttercup and Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear, and finally Trixie.
