Pierce Brosnan replaces Mickey Rourke in ST. VINCENT

There was a time shortly after Mickey Rourke found insane critical acclaim thanks to his work in THE WRESTLER when he was attached to just about every project in existence. Since then, it has become a lot more clear which ones he will and will not actually be a part of.

Pierce Brosnan claims MAMMIA MIA! 2 is off, is it true?

I know what some of you are thinking, “Why is he talking about MAMMA MIA!” Well, I actually really liked MAMMA MIA!, and even picked it up on Blu-ray. I wasn’t the only one that really dug it either, the film was the fifth highest grossing movie of 2008 and, until AVATAR, it was the highest grossing film in Britain. Pierce Brosnan, Ed Harris, and Jim Gaffigan join SALVATION BOULEVARD

Pierce Brosnan has a lot going for him these days. Not only was he a really great Bond (who got some really crappy movies), but he is successfully branching out in his career after Bond. Some of the last films he’s been in have been pretty huge, PERCY JACKSON and MAMMA MIA! come to mind. It looks like he feels it is time for a little indie movie, and it will be SALVATION BOULEVARD.
