My thoughts and stuff…
After having many struggles on it’s way to production, it seems that Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner’s feature film debut is finally making it’s way to reality. In fact, this is actually it’s third incarnation in the past couple of years, and seemingly it’s strongest yet.
Now we can add Laura Ramsey to the likes of Zach Galifianakis, Amy Poehler, and Owen Wilson to the film.

The cast of HALL PASS is really rounding out with all these announcements that have been made in the past couple weeks. First it was announced that Amanda Bynes would be appearing in the film, then we found out that Stephen Merchant and J.B. Smoove were joining the cast. We told you last week that Amanda Bynes had joined the cast of HALL PASS, the story of some men who are given tickets by their wives, that can be cashed in for extramarital affairs. The film will be directed by the Farrelly Bros. and is their first film since 2007’s THE HEARTBREAK KID. A teaser for the upcoming MARMADUKE live action film has hit the web, just to give us a taste of what the film will be like. The story takes place when Marmaduke (voiced by Owen Wilson) and his family move from Kansas to Orange County. The film is supposed to be a teen drama about dogs.
The trailer is an obvious Sspoof of the Fox TV series “The O.C.” which could turn many people away, but actually is what hooked me. I hope this doesn’t ruin my cred, but I love “The O.C.”. If MARMADUKE has captured a similar feel to the show, I think it could end up being a really great movie.
