Image released for upcoming Nickelodeon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series

Nickelodeon is one of the few cartoon channels that I find still shows quality cartoons that adults can get into. Look at Avatar: The Last Airbender, a series that many people consider one of the best animated series of all time. Back in 2009 Nickelodeon acquired the rights to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, exciting fans like myself to no end.

Just the other day, they released a new image and some info about the upcoming Avatar sequel Legend of Korra. Today, they released an image for their upcoming CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. THE LAST AIRBENDER mythic animals revealed

THE LAST AIRBENDER is definitely one of the most brought up topics on the GATW Podcast, and is one of the most anticipated summer movies coming out. As a die hard fan of the original series Avatar: The Last Airbender, there are many nuances and small touches that are really important to me. One of these worries has been if they will nail the look and feel of the main creatures in film, Momo and Appa, and now we know for sure if they achieved the very lofty goal.

VOLTRON movie goes bye bye; New TV Series in the works

A movie based off Premiere Voltron has been in development hell for a very long time at this point, despite the successes of similar franchises like TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE. You think one or two of those films would have given VOLTRON some major legitimacy. That certainly isn’t the case for this one, as the film version is dead, and other plans are being made. Control the elements with two new posters for THE LAST AIRBENDER

The onslaught of promotion behind THE LAST AIRBENDER is pretty insane, as it looks as if the marketing team behind the film are doing everything in their power to tease us into oblivion. This is good for them, because it is working beautifully. Further proof of this are these two brand new character posters that show off what we want to see most, element-bending.

MIGHTY MOUSE to save the day on the big screen

Many people have had some…not too kind thoughts on the recent trend of bringing back older animated properties and giving them the big screen treatment. It all started with ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS, a film that went on to be a major financial success, much to the chagrin of moviegoers everywhere. M. Night Shyamalan discusses THE LAST AIRBENDER

It is no secret that I’m obsessed with the surprisingly amazing Nickelodeon cartoon series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” I resisted watching the series for a very long time, but when I did, I was instantly hooked. The scope of the series is so big, and I think should transition to a film trilogy extremely well. Once M. Night Shyamalan was attached as director, I knew this film would end up being one of my most anticipated films of the year.

New pictures for THE LAST AIRBENDER

I can’t even explain how excited I am for THE LAST AIRBENDER. I honestly never thought I would be excited about anything related to M. Night Shyamalan after his long string of awful films. Regardless, it is his writing that I have problems with, not his very well-planned and executed directing.

THE LAST AIRBENDER is still a while away, but they are trying to get its large fanbase excited for the film.
