Dexter is easily one of my favorite shows being produced for television these days, due to both its clever and interesting plot lines and the outstanding performance by Michael C. Hall as our favorite homicidal hero. After the insane cliffhanger at the end of season four, it was hard to imagine what route the next season would take. Dexter is certainly a favorite television series of a lot of us here at Gordon and the Whale, and we are anxiously awaiting season five. Season four ended with a major shocker, and left fans completely unsure of what would follow. As the next season is approaching, details are now starting to come out about what we can expect, such as that film actress Julia Stiles has officially joined the cast for the next season.
