Rachel Bilson joins BFF AND BABY

Since the cancellation of The O.C. and the subsequent end to her portrayal of the unforgettable Summer Roberts, Rachel Bilson has done a lot of supporting roles in television, but hasn’t done much in the film world. 2008’s JUMPER was her last foray into film, but it has left her hungry for more. Now she’s got her chance.

Bilson is set to play a part in BFF AND BABY, a film co-written by Krysten Ritter, who recently appeared in SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE and will be starring in Amy Heckerling’s next film VAMPS. The film is the story of a woman who gets pregnant (Ritter), and what happens when she and her best friend try their hardest not to let their lives change. Interview: Actresses Alice Eve and Krysten Ritter (SHE'S OUT OF MY LEAGUE)

Before SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE, I was completely unfamiliar with Alice Eve and Krysten Ritter. Although both have been working, I just hadn’t encountered them previously. It seems though that this film is a good launching point for both, and they have a lot of stuff coming out in the near future. Both of them were so incredibly nice, genuine, and truly proud of the final product of the film. It was a pleasure getting to talk to them about the film.
