Albert Brooks is the man. His filmography is long and full of greatness and variety, and he’s had one hell of a career up to this point – one that is still thriving. He is one of the comedic gods that has been entertaining us for more than four decades now.

Now he looks to be bringing that greatness to Judd Apatow’s next film, which is a spin-off to his second feature KNOCKED UP. Brooks is very close to being cast in the film, in the role of Paul Rudd’s father. It’s a role that sounds absolutely perfect for Brooks, and there would be a whole lot he can do with the role. Not to mention the promise of Brooks and Rudd playing off each other.
