Check out the awesome Joss Whedon "AMA" from Reddit

Joss Whedon is basically a geek god. Seriously.

The news that he might be directing THE AVENGERS came out on April Fools Day, which everyone thought was too good to be true, and it had to be a joke. Not to mention his droves of fans and their undying loyalty to his work on the small screen with Buffy, Angel, and Firefly.

He doesn’t take this title lightly, and likes to show us he cares. Which is partially why he did an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session with Reddit, where fans could submit their questions and he would respond. There are some interesting tidbits from the session below! THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA

Somebody at Marvel Studios must have put some talk-lax in the water cooler, because it seems no one can keep their mouths shut. Thank you rouge laxer, whoever you are! Without you, Joss Whedon never would have talked about THE AVENGERS not once, but twice. There is no way Stanley Tucci would have let us know a bit about working on the set of CAPTAIN AMERICA.

This time we have CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER director Joe Johnston talking about how the film fits into the continuity Marvel studios has created. Check out what he had to say after the break. Continue reading “Joe Johnston speaks on how CAPTAIN AMERICA fits into Marvel continuity”

Marvel RUNAWAYS to begin filming March of next year

Regardless, it is still very exciting to see that the film is coming to fruition, as it is not one of Marvel’s tent pole books. Avengers

THE AVENGERS is probably the biggest film event of the year (well, of 2012). It truly is the definition of event cinema, and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of filmmakers. It’s almost hard to believe that it is really happening, especially to a Marvel fanatic like myself.

Blu-ray Review: DR. HORRIBLE'S SING ALONG BLOG

Blu-ray Rating: 5/5

It would have been a very fitting way to pass on my thoughts about this Blu-ray set that is filled to the brim with the care and love of cast and crew. Sadly, I don’t have the resources to make this happen, so you’ll have to settle for the regular ol’ text version. Continue reading “Blu-ray Review: DR. HORRIBLE'S SING ALONG BLOG”
