THE MUPPETS is fast approaching, and now that we have a full trailer for it, Disney is trying to tease us in any way possible. Things have been a little quiet since the release of the trailer, but now we have a brand new poster to feast our eyes on.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to play the music and it’s time to light the lights, because we finally have the first full trailer for the upcoming MUPPETS movie. After our three spoof teasers they have given us in promotion for the film, the romance teaser, The Fuzzy Pack, and of course their GREEN LANTERN spoof, we finally get a peek at the film itself.

The release of the next Muppet movie, now called THE MUPPETS MOVIE, couldn’t come any sooner, as it seems like a project I’ve been waiting years for. Of course, we should all just be glad that it is indeed happening. Now it looks as though the wait will be a little bit shorter than anticipated, as Disney has moved the release date up from Christmas 2011, to Thanksgiving 2011.

As a ridiculously obsessed Muppet fan, I am more excited for the latest Muppet film than many of the other big projects currently in development. It seems that the stars have aligned for this iteration of our reticulated polyfoam crafted friends, as true Muppet lovers Jason Segal and Nicolas Stoller have penned the script. DESPICABLE ME is a movie that somehow had slipped past my radar. I literally knew nothing about this movie when I saw the trailer before AVATAR. Mid-trailer, I knew that this movie was going to be awesome. Steve Carell has the perfect voice for animated features, which gives this film a lot of clout.
