It’s been fifteen years since CASINO was released, and we haven’t had a team-up of Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro since then. Although there have been several almosts, including Scorsese’s THE DEPARTED where Jack Nicholson’s role was originally intended for De Niro, it just hasn’t happened.
