THE WOMAN IN BLACK to get a sequel called ANGELS OF DEATH

Many had wondered what Daniel Radcliffe, who basically the whole world knows as Harry Potter, would do after the POTTER films were done. I mean, the series had made him one of the biggest, most well known stars out there, but he had not done much else. That film ended up being the THE WOMAN IN BLACK, a horror film.

The film released and ended up being quite a success. In fact, it ended up being the highest grossing british horror film in two decades. That’s quite an accomplishment. This makes it no surprise that a sequel will now be produced titled THE WOMAN IN BLACK: ANGELS OF DEATH. Continue reading “THE WOMAN IN BLACK to get a sequel called ANGELS OF DEATH”

HELLRAISER remake okay for the kiddos

HELLRAISER hasn’t really been a memorable series for a very long while, but that isn’t to say it couldn’t return to its dark, horrifying roots. That was many people’s hopes with the impending remake, but in classic horror film fashion, that has been fully squandered.

The Weinsteins have every intention of turning the film into a PG-13 franchise. Continue reading “HELLRAISER remake okay for the kiddos”

Yesterday I wrote a post about the new poster for A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET that I feel gave a little look into the attitude of the film. They didn’t want to stop there though – here’s four new images from the upcoming horror remake. For anyone who found the poster to be somewhat uninspired, maybe these photos will change your mind.

New poster for A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

When the remake of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET was first announced, I didn’t know a single person that was excited about it. The biggest question was if Robert Englund would reprise the role of Freddy Krueger, which he played for two decades. People believed he was the only person that could ever play Freddy, until Jackie Earle Haley was announced as Freddy. It was amazing how quick people got on the side of the film after that.

The film is almost here whether you like it or not, and they’ve provided us another peek at Freddy with a new poster. You can check it out after the jump! Continue reading “New poster for A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET”

David Arquette claims Wes Craven will direct SCREAM 4

SCREAM 4 hasn’t been much of a secret, it seems that some sort of rumor is spouted off by the cast and crew all the time. We have found out over time that much of the original cast will return to their roles, the big question was if original director Wes Craven would be in. SEASON OF THE WITCH gets a new poster

SEASON OF THE WITCH cut

Lionsgate is gearing up for the March 19 release of SEASON OF THE WITCH by putting out a new poster. So far, we’ve a seen a teaser and a trailer, just enough to pique interest in the horror film. The film was directed by Dominic Sena, who also directed GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS, SWORDFISH (so awesome!), and WHITEOUT which came out earlier this year. Unfortunately for Sena, WHITEOUT went through critical hell and was almost universally disliked. Maybe he can redeem himself with this one.

Check out the rest of the poster after the jump! Continue reading “SEASON OF THE WITCH gets a new poster”
