GATW Podcast Ep. 53: On The Books

The release of the final film in the HARRY POTTER franchise truly marks the end of an era and the end of an incredible film achievement. Although we hate to see it go, getting a conclusion to the series we’ve been following for almost ten years now will be a gratifying experience for all.

GATW Podcast Ep. 33: Accio Orca

The HARRY POTTER franchise has been a cultural phenomenon to the degree that we have never before seen. As one of the most popular book franchises of all time, the series has inspired children to pick up a book and read. As a film franchise, they have entertained and amazed viewers with their quality and marvel.

Now that cultural phenomenon is coming to a close, as the film series is concluding. New HARRY POTTER poster is on fire

The final two HARRY POTTER films are upon us, and many fans (myself included) are very depressed over this. No longer will we scarf up to see the films in costume, casting fake Expelliarmus charms on any foes I may face (seriously, don’t cut in line). Along with the recent trailer being released, the teasing has gone into full force and a new poster has hit the web.

"The end of an Era." HARRY POTTER completed filming over the weekend

If you’re a peer of mine, you probably grew up with the HARRY POTTER franchise being a major part of your childhood. The book series not only got many children interested in reading but also opened up their imaginations to an amazing magical world. The film series was a great addition to the franchise as it brought the amazing world to life. According to the legendary Warwick Davis’ Twitter, that time is over as the film series completed shooting last Saturday.

Warner Bros. is most profitable studio this year

Well, I don’t know if this surprises anyone after the string of high quality hits Warner Bros. Pictures has had come out in the past year. The HARRY POTTER series alone constantly brings in at least $800 million worldwide per release. With all the other releases they’ve had this year, such as THE HANGOVER (which basically printed money), they have easily acquired this top position.
