We found out back in March that David Cronenberg’s EASTERN PROMISES was likely to receive a sequel. This would mark Cronenberg’s first sequel ever, but a sequel that actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks to one of the stars of the first film, Vincent Cassel, we have learned both exciting and saddening news about the project.

Cronenberg and the film’s star Viggo Mortenson brought the pages of the script to life in such a realistic, heartbreaking, and beautiful way.
