Final PRINCE OF PERSIA theatrical poster

Disney’s PRINCE OF PERSIA sounds like a bad idea on paper, but with the resources it’s been given by the House of Mouse, it has the opportunity to be pretty fun. Last week we had a new trailer come out, and to further put fire under this leather-clad, saber-wielding, time-bending adventure, Disney has put out the final theatrical poster.

New image from TRON LEGACY

The recent renewed interest in TRON is pretty amazing. What was once a somewhat forgotten gem is now producing one of the most anticipated films of 2010. Not to mention it makes news almost every single day.

Just yesterday we had news that the IMAX version of the film would have five scenes that would fill the entire IMAX screen. Today we get a new image that was part of the trailer shown at the recent TRON event that was held the other day. This picture is certainly going to drive all fans of the original mad with nostalgia. Samuel L. Jackson unsure of his Marvel future?

To me, one of the biggest film shocks of 2008 was when Nick Fury showed up after the credits of IRON MAN. I was so excited after seeing that scene that I actually got a speeding ticket on my way home from the theater. That scene was the start of something much bigger for Sam Jackson and his version of Nick Fury, including no less than a nine picture deal with Marvel to reprise Nick Fury in future movies. New TRON LEGACY poster

I grew up watching TRON, constantly watching it throughout my childhood. When I got a little bit older, a computer game was released, titled “Tron 2.0.” I played the game religiously for a very long time. Needless to say, I’ve been a TRON fan for most of my life. When TRON LEGACY was announced, many people were very excited for it, especially since the original was released in 1982 and it has had no previous sequels. Unfortunately, it is still a ways away and they like teasing us about it.

You can check out the a new poster for TRON LEGACY after the jump! Continue reading “New TRON LEGACY poster”

Stan “The Man” Lee is easily one of the most creative minds in comics. In fact, most of the most popular Marvel heroes were created by Lee. In 2005 he helped form POW! Entertainment to make an array of new media properties. Along with Marvel, Disney acquired POW! on Thursday. It seems like Disney wants to be the go to source for superheroes. New picture from Disney's RAPUNZEL

Rapunzel
After Disney’s triumphant return to traditional animation with THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, it is a little surprising to see them make another computer-generated feature. At the same time, this new image shows us that they are trying to capture the classic Disney look and feel, something that CG films like CHICKEN LITTLE have been missing.

This full magazine spread is gorgeous and gives us a better idea as to what RAPUNZEL will look like. You can see the rest of the image after the jump! Continue reading “New picture from Disney's RAPUNZEL”
