Just over a month ago, it was rumored that Robert Rodriguez was offered the director’s chair for Marvel’s upcoming DEADPOOL film. Very little real information was known before, other than that he had been given the script for review. Now the word is that the talks have gotten very serious, and the final deal is being worked out.
DEADPOOL would most likely be Robert Rodriguez’s next film after his big third sequel in the SPY KIDS franchise. This would also work out well for Ryan Reynolds’ schedule, as he would be wrapping up all of his upcoming projects (including press for GREEN LANTERN).
