Jason Sudeikis joins third season of "Eastbound & Down"

This year has been pretty big for Jason Sudeikis, aside from his job as a cast member of Saturday Night Live, he has been beefing up on his feature film work. Most recently, he co-starred in HORRIBLE BOSSES, which came out just this past Friday. Although his film career is blossoming at a very fast rate, he doesn’t seem prepared to give up on television just yet.

Sudeikis is now going to be involved with the third season of Jody Hill’s HBO series, Eastbound & Down.

For those of you who haven’t seen the show before, it follows Kenny Powers (Danny McBride), a brash, drug-abusing, ex-baseball player after he has lost the spotlight. The first season followed him as he moved back to his hometown, the second season placed him deep in Mexico. The third season will mark his return to America. Jesse Eisenberg in talks to join Aziz Ansari in 30 MINUTES OR LESS?

Ruben Fleischer will deliver pizzas in 30 MINUTES OR LESS

Because ZOMBIELAND has little bit of everything in it, it’s hard to find someone who hated ZOMBIELAND. The comedic, action-packed, horror film started off as a little film, but ultimately went on to be box office and critical success. Since then, many have been anxiously waiting to see what the director Ruben Fleischer would do next. First he was rumored to be involved in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4, then he was said to be directing a buddy cop film. Now his next project is known, and it is even more exciting. Danny McBride founds production company, Rough House

Just a couple years ago, Danny McBride was practically unknown. Then a little film by first time director Jody Hill came out, titled FOOT FIST WAY. The film got the attention of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, who were attached as producers. After that, McBride had no trouble getting other roles, and is now one of the most recognizable faces in comedy movies.

McBride, along with FOOT FIST WAY director Jody Hill, PINEAPPLE EXPRESS director David Gordon Green, and Warner Bros. exec Matt Reilly have founded a new high-concept comedy powerhouse named Rough House.
