Rosario Dawson joins FIRE WITH FIRE

Rosario Dawson has really made herself quite a name as an actress. From being cast (literally) on her doorstep by Harmony Korine and Larry Clark for their film KIDS, to her work with Quentin Tarantino in DEATHPROOF, she is now a solid cinematic bet.

Dawson has now booked one of her next roles in FIRE WITH FIRE, where she will play opposite Bruce Willis and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, with Josh Duhamel taking up the lead role.

The film follows a firefighter who enters into the witness protection program to protect himself from a thug who he is set to testify against in court. When the thug begins threatening his love interest, he must take matters into his own hands. While Duhamel will be playing the firefighter, it seems Dawson will be playing the love interest. Robert De Niro joins FREELANCERS with 50 Cent

Robert De Niro is arguably one of the greatest actors of all time, appearing in many films that have gone on to receive critical acclaim. His career is just as hot as ever, even with films that fan the flame a bit like LITTLE FOCKERS. De Niro has the opportunity to be in the spotlight until he doesn’t want to be anymore, so he can do pretty much any project he wants.

Now he is looking to team back up with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in his upcoming film, FREELANCERS.

The story follows Jackson’s character as he joins the NYPD following his father’s death. He finds himself ultimately teamed up with his dad’s ex-partner (De Niro), becoming a member of a special task force. Forest Whitaker no longer in JEKYLL AND HYDE

JEKYLL AND HYDE is a property that has been really underrepresented. Yes, there have been versions of it such as the original NUTTY PROFESSOR and its subsequent remake. Aside from those, the classic property has just been at a standstill. Unfortunately, the future of one of the most promising upcoming adaptations is looking very dark.
