Here's a load of new AVENGERS images

Avengers

It’s heading towards summer, which means that the cineplexes get filled with explosion-packed goodness, and all the big action blockbusters get released. Although we all have our favorites that we’re most excited about, there is no question that THE AVENGERS is the film I’m anticipating the most. This film is like a dream come true.

What I’ve been calling the AVENGERS media onslaught is in full-force, and we’ve been getting a ton of content directly from the Mouse-House. Today, we have got a ton of new images (a photopalooza if you will) showing off the look of the film.

GATW Podcast Ep. 12: On The Road Again

In the past year, road movies have hit the mainstream once again, and public interest has never been higher. This resurgence of interest has ultimately led to Russell Brand reprising his role of Aldous Snow from FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL in the international road movie GET HIM TO THE GREEK. To celebrate the film and genre, we have a talk about our favorite road movies.

Hugo Weaving will play Red Skull in CAPTAIN AMERICA after all

Hugo Weaving Red Skull

Back in March, we started hearing rumblings that go-to bad guy, Hugo Weaving, was very likely to play The Red Skull in FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA. Just like Chris Evans for the role of CAPTAIN AMERICA, Marvel let the news make the rounds on the Internet before making any official announcement. Now we know with complete certainty that Weaving will be taking up the role. Continue reading “Hugo Weaving will play Red Skull in CAPTAIN AMERICA after all”

GATW Podcast Ep. 7: Future of Marvel

IRON MAN 2 is practically here, and we figured there would be no better way to reign in one of the biggest summer blockbusters than to dedicate an entire episode to Marvel. The future of Marvel is so bright these days (and dare we say ambitiously so) that it’s gonna need shades.

You can check out this week’s episode and its synopsis after the break! Continue reading “GATW Podcast Ep. 7: Future of Marvel”

Alice Eve top choice for CAPTAIN AMERICA female lead

Now that Cap has been cast, the role of Peggy Carter in FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA is getting all the attention. The other day, the big news was that Emily Blunt was offered the role but declined. Although Blunt doesn’t want it, there are plenty of young actresses out there that do. Two of them are currently screen-testing for a second time, which means we’ll probably have our leading lady soon enough. Continue reading “Alice Eve top choice for CAPTAIN AMERICA female lead”

GATW Podcast Ep. 4: Lists of Shame

A list of shame: everybody’s got one…and nobody likes to admit it.  This embarrassing list consists of all the movies that you should have seen and are ashamed for not having seen them yet. Sometimes, a film will make your list for being an iconic and highly revered film; or for being the only film you haven’t seen by your favorite director. Our GATW podcasters are willing to throw it all on the line in this week’s podcast, and let you in on one of their biggest secrets.

You can check out the episode rundown and also listen to this week’s episode after the jump! Continue reading “GATW Podcast Ep. 4: Lists of Shame”
