Next Bond film gets release dates

Daniel Craig

The 23rd James Bond film has not had an easy time making it to the screen, after struggling to come to fruition due to MGM’s financial woes. The project is back on however, and luckily for us fans, the project did not lose Sam Mendes as the director. Other than Daniel Craig’s return as Bond and Mendes being set to direct, little is known about the upcoming film. We can now add release dates to the small list of things we do know about the next Bond.

The film, which is at this moment still untitled, will actually carry not one, but two, release dates. The UK and Ireland will get the film two weeks before we get it over in the States. Europe will see its release on October 26, 2012 and the U.S. and the rest of the world will have to wait until November 9, 2012. This two-week wait will be excruciating for Bond fans, as we are sure to hear a lot about the film in that time. Continue reading “Next Bond film gets release dates”

Now it seems they have, MGM has BOND 23 slated for a 2012 release. Continue reading “MGM wants Bond back by 2012”

James Bond's next outing has been suspended, SPECTRE possibly to blame

James Bond has been a favorite of mine since I was just a wee little guy, with the recent two incarnations starring Daniel Craig reaffirming my love for the series. Even though both films were major financial successes, and MGM assured us that the James Bond franchise would be okay despite their financial woes, it seems that isn’t entirely true. It now looks as if the next Bond feature has been suspended indefinitely.

This news comes to us through a press release put out by Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, which you can check out after the break. Continue reading “James Bond's next outing has been suspended, SPECTRE possibly to blame”
