I think it’s a pretty fair assessment to say that Blake Lively has officially made it in both the film and TV realms. After taking up roles in such films as THE TOWN and the upcoming GREEN LANTERN, as well as her most famous role as Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, we can only imagine that she will be a staple of future entertainment.

To even further substantiate this, there are rumblings that she very well could take up the mantle of Carrie Bradshaw of the ridiculously popular SEX AND THE CITY franchise in a prequel.

The prequel would follow Carrie’s teenage years as depicted in Candace Bushnell’s The Carrie Diaries, which leads us right up to Blake Lively who is seemingly obvious, yet perfect casting.
