GATW Podcast Ep. 13: TV to Film

I love it when a plan comes together! I also love making overtly obvious film references just because they are relevant! Said relevance comes from the fact that THE A-TEAM is kicking down the doors of your local cineplex to fill your eyes full with its Liam Neeson goodness. There’s no better way to ring in this summer movie than to talk about its roots, because it started as a television series. Mr. T pities the fools who made the A-TEAM movie

One of the biggest hurdles the new A-TEAM movie had to clear was casting the right replacement for Mr. T, which they some how did the impossible and cast Rampage Jackson in the role. The film is done now and about to come out, and the real Mr. T has seen it. His opinion on the film wasn’t so positive, but for reasons you very well might not have expected. SWORDFISH and A-TEAM scribe to pen DIE HARD 5

The DIE HARD franchise has been a fan favorite since the first film was released in 1988, consequently catapulting its star Bruce Willis into the public eye. Two sequels were released, the first in 1990 and the second in 1995. But that wasn’t enough for ol’ John McClane though and, after a twelve year break from the franchise, another sequel came out in the form of the ultra-neutered LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD.

Joe Carnahan wants Bradley Cooper for THE GREY

Joe Carnahan has recently been in the public eye, since he is at the helm of the upcoming A-TEAM film. Mixed reactions came from the trailer, but most agree that the casting is absolutely perfect.
