Adaptations are such a big part of Hollywood, as the flow of adaptations, remakes, and “reimaginings” has hit an all-time high. This inspired us to talk about some of our favorite adaptations and why we love them.

Additionally, we talk about Danny Boyle’s 127 HOURS, and delve into whether or not it’s worth all the hype. Could Danny Boyle want Katie Featherston of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY for 127 HOURS?

I’m not surprised at all that the amazing Katie Featherston would make it big time after PARANORMAL ACTIVITY came out. She gave one of the most real performances I’ve seen in a very long time. Apparently Danny Boyle liked her too, as she auditioned for a part in 127 HOURS and read a scene with him.

We reported earlier that Danny Boyle was making a film called 127 HOURS starring James Franco as Aron Ralston. Ralston is a mountain climber who was pinned underneath a boulder for five days, and amputated his arm to survive. The film is supposed to be very realistic, and will even feature an hour without dialogue. Featherston would fit right into the realistic tone, as she has proven her ability in that arena before. James Franco to star in Danny Boyle's 127 HOURS

Since SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE came out, people have been going crazy over what Danny Boyle’s next project might be. Awhile back, it was confirmed to be 127 HOURS, the true story of mountaineer Aron Rolston, who amputated his own arm to free himself from a boulder that landed on him.
