After Joss Whedon put out his letter about why the TERMINATOR franchise should be sold to him, fans’ imaginations went wild. Not to mention the excitement about the people who brought you TERMINATOR: SALVATION losing their rights. That was about the last time we spoke about who was in the running for the rights. Now we know who will most likely win. Continue reading “Lionsgate will probably get TERMINATOR rights”

Netflix streaming coming to the Wii

I had never used Netflix before the Xbox 360 streaming was added, and I instantly fell in love with the service. They are quick, they have almost everything, and their streaming library was growing every day. Awhile back, streaming was added through the PS3 console, and pretty soon the Wii will also have the ability. Continue reading “Netflix streaming coming to the Wii”

KING OF KONG director to make CELESTE AND JESSE FOREVER

The first time I saw KING OF KONG, I was completely blown away. The source material was right up my alley, but I wasn’t expecting such an engaging, exciting, and fun documentary to come from it. Needless to say, I was excited about what he would make next. Sadly, his next movie was FOUR CHRISTMASES. Now he is set to direct another romantic comedy CELESTE AND JESSE FOREVER. Robert Downey Jr. thinks ALIENS are out and HOLMES 2 is in

Everybody loves Robert Downey Jr., and it is easy to understand why. He is a phenomenal actor, he is very funny, and he picks roles extremely well. Now that his schedule is so busy, it’s a lot harder for him to do every project he wants. This is a classic case of that, but it’s probably for the best.

Robert Downey Jr. was set to start filming for Jon Favreau’s next movie, COWBOYS & ALIENS, this summer. Downey has now pulled out of that project, as he will be starring in SHERLOCK HOLMES 2, which should start filming in June. No word yet who will replace Downey in COWBOYS. METAL GEAR movie not so SOLID

There has been talk of a METAL GEAR SOLID movie for a very long time, and there was even an announcement in 2006. Fans rejoiced! They pulled out their Playstations, and started tapping away at their fan fiction scripts, and we didn’t hear about it again. Now we’ve gotten word, and it is a sad story for all the fans out there.

METAL GEAR SOLID (movie) producer Michael De Luca was quoted saying “I don’t think it’s going to move forward.” That alone is pretty self-explanatory, but then he went into more detail. Continue reading “METAL GEAR movie not so SOLID”

Video Interview: Ben McKenzie ("Southland")

I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t an avid fan of “The O.C.,” I watched the show religiously throughout its run. So when I was presented the opportunity to interview Ben McKenzie (Ryan Atwood on the show), I of course accepted. And it was a pleasure, because he was incredibly nice and gracious. I made the offhand comment that this was my first interview, and he loved it. After his attempt to make me nervous (jokingly), we did the interview. Continue reading “Video Interview: Ben McKenzie ("Southland")”
