James Franco has been taking his career in a pretty interesting direction lately, not quite Joaquin Phoenix interesting, but pretty damn interesting. Aside from having a stint on the soap opera General Hospital as what my mom described as “a creepy murderer dude,” and his indie documentary SATURDAY NIGHT (a behind the scenes look at SNL), but he hasn’t had any big roles in a while. First Look: COWBOYS & ALIENS set photo
Jon Favreau’s COWBOYS & ALIENS is rapidly approaching, and fan excitement is ever-growing with every bit of news that comes out about the project. The film is in the process of prepping for shooting, and is currently in screen tests, but we are already getting our first glimpse as to what the look of the film will be like.

Jemaine Clement cast as the MEN IN BLACK 3 villain
A while back we caught wind that there was a very good chance that Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords, EAGLE VS. SHARK) could be showing up in the next MEN IN BLACK film. At first, we were led to believe it might be in a smaller and more comedic role, but now we know the truth.

Pierce Brosnan replaces Mickey Rourke in ST. VINCENT
There was a time shortly after Mickey Rourke found insane critical acclaim thanks to his work in THE WRESTLER when he was attached to just about every project in existence. Since then, it has become a lot more clear which ones he will and will not actually be a part of.

Christopher Walken has some WILD OATS
It’s hard to find someone out there who doesn’t enjoy Christopher Walken. His diverse filmography has something in it that could appeal to everyone. His latest efforts seem to be more on the comedic side, and now he is spreading that reach even further by joining an action-comedy titled WILD OATS.
As of now, we aren’t sure who Walken will play in the film, but the rest of the cast includes Shirley MacLaine, Maria Bello, and Christina Ricci. Paul Dano joins the already stellar COWBOYS & ALIENS cast
It seems like every day we are hearing about some really great actor or actress being added to the cast of COWBOYS & ALIENS. The film is Jon Favreau’s latest after IRON MAN 2, and already has a cast that includes Daniel Craig, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, and of course the unforgettable Harrison Ford.

Final DESPICABLE ME poster is the opposite of despicable
More often than not, we get posters that go out of their way to be cool or exciting to pull in the older crowd. That certainly isn’t the case for the upcoming animated film DESPICABLE ME, whose final poster goes out of its way to be creative, endearing, and adorable.

Will there be a Nick Fury S.H.I.E.L.D. movie after THE AVENGERS?
A lot of people were pretty surprised when Samuel L. Jackson signed on to play Nick Fury in nine Marvel movies. Of course we know a lot of the films he will be showing up in, but nine is a lot more than we know about. Directly from the mouth of Jackson himself, we might know about one more of these projects, one I certainly wasn’t expecting.

Charlie Day of "It's Always Sunny" to star in HORRIBLE BOSSES?
HORRIBLE BOSSES is a workplace murder comedy that has been in development hell for several years now, but now it seems to finally be coming to fruition. New Line is in final negotiations on their cast, it is shaping up to be pretty impressive.
Apparently, New Line is in the process of getting Charlie Day and Jason Bateman for the film, a story of three best friends who decide that the only way they can be happy at their jobs is to kill each other’s bosses.
