One new poster for THE TOWN is better than nun

THE TOWN is probably one of my most anticipated upcoming films, both off its incredible star power and Ben Affleck’s direction. Crime dramas are easily my favorite genre, and THE TOWN gives me a DEPARTED vibe in all the best ways.

THE AVENGERS now has a start date

Avengers

THE AVENGERS is probably the biggest film event of the year (well, of 2012). It truly is the definition of event cinema, and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of filmmakers. It’s almost hard to believe that it is really happening, especially to a Marvel fanatic like myself.

Now it feels even more real, as the film now has a start date. Continue reading “THE AVENGERS now has a start date”

Guillermo del Toro to jump in the video game business

Not a lot of people know this, but before film took over every facet of my being, video games were my thing. As much as I still love gaming, it can be hard to find the time to play something. So now, a game  has to be really cinematic and quite good to convince me to put my life on hold till I beat it.

For any gamers out there, you might recognize names like Ron Gilbert, Cliff Bleszinski, Peter Molyneux. Soon, PAN’S LABYRINTH director Guillermo del Toro might be joining their ranks as a name in gaming. Continue reading “Guillermo del Toro to jump in the video game business”

"Safe Haven" goes to Relativity

Just a couple of days ago we let you in on the status of Nicholas Sparks’ next big project Safe Haven, which had already built up an intense bidding war before the book’s release.
