Stanley Tucci talks CAPTAIN AMERICA

Stanley Tucci is an actor who is usually known for bringing incredible performances to any film he is a part of. Most recently, he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance in THE LOVELY BONES. We’ve known for a while that he was joining CAPTAIN AMERICA, but now we have some more insight to the role thanks to Mr. Tucci himself.

Marvel hires screenwriter for IRON FIST movie

Disney’s acquisition of Marvel has brought  forth infinite more possibilities for Marvel properties to make it to the big screen. One of the first of which seems to be Iron Fist, a character very well known for fans of comics, but virtually unknown to everyone else.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4 may not use MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE in the title?

Just the other day we got news that Jeremy Renner was set to co-star in the next MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE film, with Tom Cruise still set to lead. This is an exciting prospect for fans of the series, as the build-up of Keri Russell’s character in the third film was really interesting. Now we are getting word that that film will indeed be a sequel to the film series, but it won’t be MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE.

Doug Liman definitely on ALL YOU NEED IS KILL

A couple months ago, we got word that Doug Liman had dropped out of production of his take on The Three Musketeers and was supposedly on a film called ALL YOU NEED IS KILL. The film was an interesting fit for Liman, but one that could potentially turn into something incredible. From the looks of it, Warner Bros. agrees, as they have hired him as director.

The film is said to be like “GROUNDHOG DAY meets STARSHIP TROOPERS,” as a young soldier must relive a battle against an alien force over and over. GATW Podcast Ep. 23: Soccer Mom, White Zinfandel

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD has finally arrived, and smashed it’s way into the hearts of everyone who saw it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t nearly as many people as it really could have used. Regardless of this, we dish our thoughts on the film and it’s box office performance. Then we have a little follow-up to our Summer episode, and talk about all the upcoming Fall films. There were lots of promising films coming up, and it’s looking to be one hell of a Fall season.
