Many, many moons ago, we wrote up about a project that was likely to be Zach Braff’s second directorial effort, a film called SWINGLES. It is the story of some people trying to make it through their thirties while living the single life. It’s been over a year since SWINGLES was first mentioned, but now Braff is talking it up again and letting us in on his next original script.

Dexter is easily one of my favorite shows being produced for television these days, due to both its clever and interesting plot lines and the outstanding performance by Michael C. Hall as our favorite homicidal hero. After the insane cliffhanger at the end of season four, it was hard to imagine what route the next season would take. Comic-Con is a huge event that can’t seem to stop growing. Every year it is bigger than the year before, boasting more movies, comics, and games than its predecessor. This year was a pretty important year for the ‘Con, partly because of a little film called THE AVENGERS and the very exciting TRON sequel. Needless to say, there’s a lot to talk about.

Although sometimes the costumes from THOR might seem a little… silly, there are moments like this one that get me back on the THOR train. One of my biggest fears about the costume was how the helmet would look, and now we finally are getting our first look at the final product.

As a ridiculously obsessed Muppet fan, I am more excited for the latest Muppet film than many of the other big projects currently in development. It seems that the stars have aligned for this iteration of our reticulated polyfoam crafted friends, as true Muppet lovers Jason Segal and Nicolas Stoller have penned the script. We’ve known for a little bit that JUDGE DREDD was going to be hitting the big screen again in a much darker, grittier, and true to the comic film, as opposed to the infamous 1995 DREDD film. Although not much is known about the film other than it’s tone, we might have learned who will be donning the helmet and badge in the new film.

We all know that the HANGOVER 2 is fast approaching, yet we know absolutely nothing about the plot. About six months ago we got word that the second film very possibly could take place overseas, in the exotic realm of Thailand. Although director Todd Phillips later shot this down, word is that he might have been trying to misdirect us, as sources are saying Thailand is back in. It isn’t hard to get into debate as to which Larry Charles film is your favorite, especially since he has only done a couple films, but many people praise him for his work on BORAT and RELIGULOUS.
